Community Narrowboats
The Boat Club has three narrowboats that it uses to run trips along the Regents Canal for youth, community, educational and welfare groups from around Hackney and beyond.
The trips are led by an experienced, friendly skipper and are fully participatory – everyone can steer the boat and work the locks.
The trips are either half-day (10.00am to 1.00pm or 2.00 to 5.00 pm) or full day (10.00am to 5.00 pm). Each boat can hold up to
12 passengers
(this includes babes-in-arms).
They run seven days per week.
Currently the cost per trip is:
Half-day £80
Full-day £160
This is the cost to local families and community groups!
