    07 Jul 2012

Laburnum Boat Club started in 1983 by three local volunteers who wanted to offer young people the chance to canoe.Canoeing is still at the heart of what we do.We have a fleet of stable kayaks (suitable for novices and group work), a fleet of open boats, a fleet of specialist kayaks and examples of pretty well every other type of paddle craft. We can tailor canoeing to every need, from beginners to experts, from birthday parties to six week school courses. We operate within the guidelines of the

    British Canoe Union

    We can offer the

    Paddle Power Scheme personal performance

1,2 or 3 Star Awards in Kayak and Canoe,

    Foundation Safety and Rescue Training,

Level 1 and 2 Coach Training and Assessment

     and

Aquatic First Aid Levels 1 and 2
